I thought this subject had potential. I liked the spines and the red tips. And the blue background? What would you use? I spent ages fiddling with the composition and struggling with depth of field issues. In the end I feel the composition is rather unbalanced, but the subject definitely has potential and is worth another go. It's a common enough plant.
