The Pergola at West Dean College

Previous Next

The perogola was designed by Harold Peto and is over 100 metres long. It was extensively restored following the 1987 storm, and is a host to many varieties of clematis, rose and honeysuckle. The Gazebo at its west end has a floor of knapped flints interspersed with horses' molars.
