This is an all-day trip to the Arundel Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) reserve. If you're interested in bird photography, today you can practise your techniques on relatively tame and captive subjects. Even so, it's not as easy as you think.
Here's a selection of pictures taken at Arundel over the last few years. Note the striking differences in the colour and texture of the water; this is mainly governed by what it's reflecting, and is something you need to bear in mind (along with the direction of the light) when selecting a viewpoint
